Medical Assistant & Phlebotomy Day Class
Requirements to Sign Up:
Must be 18 years or older.
Valid ID, Social Security card, and a diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED).
Additional Requirements for Externship (not needed for registration but required by externship time):
FBI/BCI background check.
Physical examination.
PPD (Tuberculosis) test.
 
Class Details:
Dates: May 12th – August 27th
Days: Mondays & Wednesdays
Time: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Classroom/Lab Hours: 160 hours
Length : 16 weeks 
 
Phlebotomy Training:
To pass the phlebotomy portion of the course, you must complete at least 20 venipunctures and 10 capillary sticks.This hands-on experience ensures you are fully prepared to succeed in the field.
 
Externship (Optional):
Hours: 96 hours.
Availability: Externships are not guaranteed and are contingent on availability with partnering urgent care facilities.
Start Date: After completing 100 classroom/lab hours, the remaining 60 hours can be completed alongside the externship.
Externship Partnerships:
We are partnered with several urgent care facilities to provide real-world experience, subject to availability.
 
Certification:
Upon completion of classroom, lab, and optional externship hours, students are eligible to sit for the national certification exam through the National Healthcare Association (NHA).
 
Tuition & Fees:
Total Cost: $2,500
Registration Fee: $100 (non-refundable, required to hold your seat).
Payment Plan: $150 due every Monday.
Option to pay in full available.

Paperwork and 1st attempt at the National Testing Fee.
 
Registration Process:
Upon registering, you will receive a Welcome Letter with details about orientation.
Orientation attendance is required to start class.
